woke up early in the morning to get my mirror mounted onto the wall. does it look nice? haha, dumb people usually make it like a square or diamond pattern. people like me add a little bit of style in the way i do things. lol. when that was finished, i headed to cut my hair short in time for SA's training in school! then this happened to my head...

it's sad how my head looks like a durian now, but ya. i'm sure you can tell from my face in the picture that i'm quite "happy" about my new hairdo. hahaha. then i packed my room a little and found this picture below. i was such a cute kid yea?

then the next picture is my pathetic lunch i ate around 1pm till just only i had my dinner. haha.

anyways, i just got home from SA's fitness training. abit about the school first. very nice and new school building. cool facilities and the people there are very friendly. haha. girls are pretty too. heh! i like their uniform, i think its very cool. alright, the sad part. training was 1.2km jogging while carrying stick for warm up. then 2.4km of close dribbling with the ball. i hurt my back big time coz i'm not really adapted to such trainings.

next, shuttle run. the exercise has a name and the name contains the word suicide. i can't remember the whole name of the exercise. it was basically 3 sets of shuttle runs while carrying the stick. first set was 20 laps, second was 15 and last was 10. madness. i'm also surprised the girls managed to complete the same things as the guys. looks like life as a SA hockey player won't be easy. ugh.

SA training again but in their school tomorrow. first time i'm gonna step into their school. haha, time to take my bubble bath! =)

i am impressed with this new boy. his name is Ivan. there was so much hoo-ha when he joined us for drills. he could things that most of us cant do. i must say, he is currently the most profilic player on the pitch. former comb sch player, played hockey in primary school and an active club player. i believe the rest in the team are impressed with him too and hopefully sajc admin can give him the green light.

haha, cool stuff eh? that's why i'm happy and flattered! anyways, had only three hours of sleep last night before crawling up for today's match which we dominated to win 8-2 although it was supposed to be one of our toughest opponents in the group. boring! lol.

met the 'gang'. they played soccer in the morning but i couldn't join due to my hockey match. haha. it was a last outing for winston as he is heading back for the united states the day after tomorrow! sad stuff. played arcade and watched this super slow but touching movie based on a true story. its called Pursuit of Happyness. nope, i didn't spell it wrongly, its happyness in the show and not happiness.

, they made me feel like i'm part of their family. lol. they are really a talented family of dancers, singers and musicians la! we were making so much noise till the police came and we had to stop. cool stuff eh. haha. had dinner there as well. oh ya, we also ate 'yu sheng'! haha, everything's wonderful today. have a match early tomorrow morning, time to sleep! =)

just got home from my first SA training. the people there are super friendly but i still need time to adapt into the squad. as in the style of play, its totally different from club hockey. haha. i want to win something man. teacher and coach also very nice. haha. i hope i can secure a spot as centre mid! lol. okay, time for lunch. buhbyes!

a short sleep, a nice dream, a bad ending to the dream, woke up, life's back the way it is

knowing a storm ahead, yet braving the storm
my ship braved a storm on purpose, didn't get past it, back to where i am but luckily my ship was not destroyed. however, time and effort was wasted. my ship may have evaded destruction but certainly was damaged by the storm. as reparations need time, my ship will have to wait quite awhile before it can set sail again. in conclusion, after the storm, we're back to square one and adding on to that, we received damages.

lesson learnt: i knew the storm was impregnable, but i tried still. next time, be sure. it must have been painful for my ship to go through the storm and now my poor ship has to take time to recover. really, lots of time and effort wasted just to brave the storm. experience gained. had fun braving the storm though. proven the saying, you reap what you sow is false. i plucked up my courage, put in all my effort and did all i can to try get through the storm, but i didn't succeed in the end. low morale. emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted. doubt i'll be sailing again anytime soon.

just got home from lots of events. met siewmin just now or should i say yesterday for pepper lunch. then we went on to watch ghost rider! nothing much has changed about her, still bickering with me non stop. haha. the movie was retarded and at some parts, scary. lol. stupid show la. then went on to meet cookie and mingfen! we went to river hong bao to see what's going on there. boring stuff la, just lots of food and amusement rides.

so we left there in search of dinner. ended up at siglap's hongkong cafe. ate noodles and some dim sum. then moved on to the cartel beside, my old workplace. had drinks and nachos, my treat! then i got lots of discounts coz my favourite manager was there. then went on to grocery shopping at a 24-hr supermarket with mingfen and cookie. tiring night. i'm gonna go bathe, sleep and wake up at 3.45am later to watch soccer! whee! =)

this year's chinese new year has been boring. as i get older, the mood for it is reduced. good thing is my relatives gave comments about me growing taller and being more handsome this year. bad thing is, red packet earnings have decreased drastically. alrights, meeting siewmin later for a meal and movie! then meeting cookie and mingfen at night to go river hong bao and have dinner! =)

woah i was sittiing in the transport just now, listening to some chinese duet (that song happened to remind me of van), i realised that we have been spending sooo much time together.

he's always been there for me, every single day.
since the time he accompanied me to find that asshole.
and from that day onwards, he had never once failed to meet up with me.

cycled with me in the hot blazing sun just to buy cheesecake, accompanied to spy on arif, shopping, suppers at feifei, sending & picking me up from work and school, tanning & swimming, allowing me to sleep in his favourite corner on his bed, botanical gardens, tolerating my SIBEI kiampa face, made my whole family fell in love with him, listening to the song 'irreplaceable' with me over and over again', putting up with my attitude and my childishness, eyelashes too, accepting me even though i can be a unpredictable monster at times and hell lots more..

went soccer with the 'gang' this afternoon. its been long since i joined them. we had a major surprise when winston turned up! he was supposed to be in america! haha, but he'll leave after chinese new year again. ugh. now i'm sun burnt and tired. good night people.

okay! first thing, last night the girl selling ice cream says i'm very cute! haha. okay, something random only. just woke up from a super long nap. had only 3 hours of sleep last night before going to my hockey match this morning. we won again, it's a boring tournament. heh!

then went lunch with my parents. i had a plate of chicken rice and a bowl of noodles! haha, power lunch eh? was supposed to meet siew min to get my super belated present today but the plan was aborted. then i was supposed to meet laura and marissa to get some presents, the plan was aborted also. haha. so i came home to sleep! alrights, i'm off for my grapefruit bubble bath! =)

today's gonna be a cool evening. meeting kel for dinner and catch up for a little. its been long since we hanged out. i feel so terribly sorry towards him. then meeting siew min to watch a hockey game. yea, guess i'll be home kinda late. in case you all are wondering what does the 12 in yesterday's post about, its my O level result. i'm sad coz i studied hard and the result wasn't single digit. yet again, i'm happy because the result has improved leaps and bounds compared to my prelims. alright, sun is burning and i need a bath now!

just got home. went grocery shopping with my mummy today and bought tons of junk food. tomorrow results are out. i'm more of excited than scared. i studied my best so i don't think there's any need to worry. whatever the outcome, i'll be happy that this phase of my life is finally over. i wanna go to school again. =)

went natalie's place this afternoon to evade my dusty house due to the renovation works in my kitchen. haha, we got bored and a little hungry so we took a bicycle each and cycled together to 7-11! how sweet right? haha, then we bought a sara lee strawberry cheesecake and cycled back to eat it up! the eating process was kinda stressful coz we were aiming cream on each other's faces once in awhile. heh! see, i'm home early tonight. i'm a good boy. =)

my new debit card!

haha. just got home from a very interesting half day. woke up by a call from cookie! its been so long since we've met. haha. she proudly announced she could come pick me up with a car! haha, i guess its normal to be proud of yourself when you've just got your driving license. i must say she is a very careful and courteous driver though. she'll sit in the car and scold other cars but she'll never use the horn. cool stuff.

so we went to the hongkong cafe beside the cartel i work at. ate some really nice food and peanut butter toast! haha. i drank nothing there coz the drinks are too expensive! then iced water costs 40 cents. yes people, i've changed. no more spending crazily but wisely. i've changed since i worked. i realised how hard it is to earn money and thus i spend money with caution now. no more shopping sprees and expensive food. i've become thrifty and maybe a little cheapskate now.

haha, then we finished lunch and i went to the bank to get my new debit card! cool stuff. if you see the picture above carefully, yes, the name printed on the card is ivaninho. hahaha. interesting eh. i can't wait to find a opportunity to use the card! well, what's installed for the rest of today, i don't know.

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TO ME!

okay cool, now i am 17, i can finally apply for my debit card. last year i received 13 presents and 7 cards. this year, 3 cards and 0 presents. that's the contrast and difference. spent past birthdays in posh restaurants and extravagant things. this year, everything is humble. many people wished me without even me giving a reminder, i'm happy. some just disappointed me big time and there's even one who didn't realise its my birthday even though i hinted today. till now, this person still doesn't know its my birthday. ugh. i gave some people big presents for their birthday last year, now, they give me nothing. i don't mean i give presents in hope of something in return but, not even a card?

bunch of friends came. had scrumptuous dim sum lunch. so we slacked around at my place before heading to have dinner and watched the movie, Happy Birthday. how suitable, but its a really sad show though, i teared watching it. haha. alacked at parkway mccafe and candled up a slice of terrible tasting oreo cheesecake. don't buy the cakes from there, its seriously terrible. alright, it all ended and we all went home.

had dinner with my junior last night, his treat. thanks shaun! love you tons okay. haha. alrights, time for lunch with my family and then church in the evening!

victory over one of the top teams in the group but i got yellow carded. junior buying me birthday dinner later. fucked up day.

i'm gonna go off in a few minutes time again. i'm out every night. madness. what to do, results are coming out soon and i'll go to school soon. i'll be heading to buy my three quarter adidas track pants later! cool stuff. haha, finally decided to buy it. then meeting the same gang again. we are the lepak-ing gang of friday nights. this time its mccafe at clark quay! last week way at parkway. haha. we're gonna explore all the mccafe in singapore! whee!

whee! finally a less tiring day. woke up late and headed to haagen dazs alone for some ice cream. haha, got some cute japanese girl working there. eriko. nice name eh? haha.

just got home again on a cab. i'm gonna go broke by the way i cab home every night.

watched soccer at national stadium. emotional. the last time a match was ever gonna be played there. part of my 'gang' was there and also my cousin. all of us sat together! haha, cool stuff. i had so much fun cheering and also jeering. everything was simply high! lol. then cousin drove me for supper. ok, tired.
