last night was crazy. i went to meet my three cool friends and we went to slack at east coast park till late. then one left, the other two came my house for stayover. then one of them did the craziest thing ever, playing with a condom! haha, due to safety reasons i will not reveal my friends' names. i have a hockey match both today and tomorrow, is that exciting or tiring?

let's talk a little about the integrated resorts coming up in 2009. why are they better than normal hotels or resorts? its the casino. money is the root of all evil, coz i see money linked to many many crimes and disputes. is the casino earning or the gamblers? consumers are always on the losing end for almost everything, so yes, the casino is earning big bucks. know why tiny singapore has so many bidders for the inegrated resorts here? singaporean gamblers are rash and greedy, they want more all the time and when they lose, they wanna fight back even more. ang moh gamblers are different, they are timid, they dare not play too much, and when they start losing, they run away. they do not attempt to make more.

my grandma used to be some gangstress or something. its not a good thing, but at least through that, she has earned enough for a comfortable retirement. so you can guess, her friends are all not-so-proper ones. i've seen many of them, owning 10 houses, after gambling, left with 3 houses. if you remember there was a news of suicide in furama hotel few years ago, its also my grandma's friend. suicide coz they lost heavily in gambling and are in heavy debt. there's another guy who got his family into trouble, he had piling debts, was rich with big house and car but end up had to sell everything. till now, his family still has to move house around with him once every few months to escape from those loan sharks.

gambling is terrible, greed will kill. just be contented with what we have, don't try to want more than what we have. work for money if we want it, shortcut methods are never safe. i'm quite a singapore lover, so i hope the upcoming casinos will cater mostly to foreigners and not locals. or else you will see many suicide cases on the news after the casino is opened. for holiday makers is not so bad, they stay only a period there, how much can they possibly lose? singaporeans are here permanently, they can go everyday and lose everything.

last but not least, an advice for everyone. do not gamble, but if you really want to, bet within your limits. its alright to lose a little, its bad to lose everything but its terrible when you start borrowing money! =)
